Episode #30.5: Rick Spychalski, Spy Comics. Recorded on 12/21/2013. Josh sits down with his original Comic Book Guy, Rick. While they sit together in a quiet back room they go over Rick’s tenure as the proprietor of Spy Comics in Federal Way, where he is now, and the development of the Northwest Convention Scene over the years. It is a retrospective into geek culture, and the two paint a colorful picture of what it was like to own a brick and mortar comic shop during the 1990s and early 2000s. A Lazy Knight Production.
